AmeriQuest Symposium to Look to the Future and Back to the Past
Speakers at the Orlando event include a renowned futurist, experts on the “connected car,” a true American hero, a business strategist, as well as a tribute to Beatlemania, marking the group’s 50th anniversary of coming to America.
CHERRY HILL, NJ, February 10, 2014 – The agenda for the AmeriQuest Symposium – a conference of industry thought leaders and business executives sharing strategies to build their businesses and identify growth opportunities – includes a presentation by a leading futurist, an overview of the latest technology trends in transportation, a speech by an American hero, and a night celebrating Beatlemania. The gathering takes place February 19-21 at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes.
This year’s event features Jim Carroll as keynote speaker on February 20. One of the world’s most respected futurists, he will give his insights on transforming growth-oriented organizations into high-velocity innovation superstars. The same day, Dr. Martin Regalia, chief U.S. Chamber of Commerce economist, will explain how future trends in the economy will impact American businesses. Next, a leader in transportation, Marshall Doney, COO of AAA, will describe today’s “connected cars” and how technology’s ability to tie these vehicles to home and business can ultimately benefit everyone.
That evening, Symposium attendees can travel back in time to relive the British Invasion as the Beatles tribute band “Yesterday” featuring Graham Alexander performs. February 2014 marks the 50th anniversary of the arrival of the Beatles in the United States. Yesterday’s featured singer performed in the hit Broadway show Beatlemania which has successfully toured the nation.
On February 21, the day opens with keynote speaker Ram Charan, recognized business advisor and author of “Global Tilt: Leading Your Business Through the Great Economic Shift” and 15 best-selling books. He is known for cutting through the complexity of running a business in today’s fast-changing environment to uncover core business problem. Former GE chairman Jack Welch has said “He has the rare ability to distill meaningful from meaningless and transfer it to others in a quiet, effective way.”
The second keynote speaker of the day is former U.S. Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, author of the best-selling tale of courage and heroism, “Lone Survivor,” which has been made into the Academy Award-nominated film starring Mark Wahlberg as Luttrell. He will relate his story and explain how he met and coped with adversity.
