To execute a Supply Management strategy, which will provide a sustainable competitive advantage through strengthened supplier relationships, reduced cost, and improved supplier accountability programs. The mission for this position is to provide a secure source of supply of quality products at a competitive price.
The primary function of this position is the development of contractual supplier agreements with AQ Supply Chain programs, including the operational and logistical aspects of the program. The department's role is a strategic function for AmeriQuest. The individual is expected to contribute as a thought leader and functional expert and have the ability to influence decisions at the highest levels of the organization.
This position will also support internal and external relationships, operation strategies and reporting to ensure optimal program savings are realized through compliance and through process improvements both internal and external to AmeriQuest. Supplier Key Performance Indicators and other performance metrics will be used to monitor and control the performance of the supplier relationship. This position will have extensive interaction with the Truck Leasing, Carrier, and Private Fleet verticals.
