Director of Products and Services

Location: Naples, FL

Position Type: Full Time

To execute a Supply Management strategy, which will provide a sustainable competitive advantage through strengthened supplier relationships, reduced cost, and improved supplier accountability programs. The mission for this position is to provide a secure source of supply of quality products at a competitive price.

The primary function of this position is the development of contractual supplier agreements with AQ Supply Chain programs, including the operational and logistical aspects of the program. The department's role is a strategic function for AmeriQuest. The individual is expected to contribute as a thought leader and functional expert and have the ability to influence decisions at the highest levels of the organization.

This position will also support internal and external relationships, operation strategies and reporting to ensure optimal program savings are realized through compliance and through process improvements both internal and external to AmeriQuest. Supplier Key Performance Indicators and other performance metrics will be used to monitor and control the performance of the supplier relationship. This position will have extensive interaction with the Truck Leasing, Carrier, and Private Fleet verticals.

Job Duties

  • Manage and execute AQ supply chain activities
    • Provide conduit for new products and services
    • Consolidate and leverage large volume opportunities to maximize supplier concessions
  • Manage supplier and department performance measurements, including supplier contract key performance indicators
  • Provide status reporting and follow-up procedures
  • Direct the process that identifies and defines significant AQ supply chain opportunities to reduce cost and improve performance
  • Conduct Analysis and marketing research to support core product strategy
  • Develop ordering, production, and control tools to manage AQ supply chain solutions
  • Coordinate participant forecast and planning activities
    • Optimize supplier capacity and productivity
  • Implementation planning for strategic initiatives, including business process analysis and operational plans
  • Drive supplier program execution through all verticals, focusing on program awareness, activity, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with vertical general managers to enhance demand and achieve proper balance of competitive products
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technology applications and specifications that have strategic value
  • Lead process improvement projects designed to promote reliability and product quality

Candidate Requirements/Preferred Experience:


  • Must demonstrate past Product Management skills and product deployment activities
  • Must have the ability to implement new initiatives
  • Highly organized and has effective time management skills
  • Is a demonstrated leader among employees
  • Is highly computer literate and uses sales database tracking programs
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Effective presentation, communication, and leadership skills are a must in order to influence and persuade
  • Must have Transportation industry supply chain specification and application knowledge
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs
  • Ability to make high level decisions and implement plans to drive results


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply management or related industry activities
