AmeriQuest Names Winnberg Vice President of Purchasing

Miami, FL March 28, 2001: AmeriQuest, the leading provider of transportation and logistics services for the fleet management industry, announced today that Thomas A. Winnberg, CPP, has been appointed Vice President of Purchasing. He is responsible for all procurement activities for AmeriQuest, AmeriQuest Participants, FleetXchange.com (a division of AmeriQuest), including AmeriQuest’s strategic partnerships (i.e., Amtralease Members, FDI for FleetXchange.com and other AmeriQuest strategic partnerships).

“Tom possesses a strong and extensive background in managing the buying processes for transportation companies, and will make an excellent addition to our team,” said Doug Clark, President & CEO. “In addition, he has successfully negotiated programs with key suppliers and vendors, which is an integral part of AmeriQuest’s business model.”

Winnberg most recently was Vice President, Purchasing at Rollins Leasing, having started with the company in 1972. He was previously Director of Purchasing and Rating, Director of Fuel Services, District Manager and Operations Manager at Rollins. Winnberg served in the US Army Reserves, and graduated from Rosemont College with a degree in Business Management. He is married and has four children.
